2009 Georgie Awards® Announce Finalists

BURNABY, October 21, 2009 – Over 400 entries from across British Columbia were judged as part of the 2009 Georgie Awards®. Entries were strong and competition was fierce. Today, the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of BC (CHBA BC) announces the finalists for its provincial housing awards.

“I am amazed by the clever minds and creative building abilities our members display every year in their Georgie Awards® entries, that span all areas of the province. These entries truly showcase the multiple talents of our members. The judges’ decisions were not lightly taken, nor was their task an easy one,” said M.J. Whitemarsh, CEO of CHBA BC.

A Georgie Award is recognized as an industry stamp of quality. Award entries are judged by a group of eight industry professionals from outside of B.C. all of whom are selected for their specific area of expertise. The calibre of projects is a testament to the talents and efforts of CHBA BC members.
