This rebuilt 1920's home's solid new foundation for clients with cultural and spiritual values from diverse ethnicities incorporated with high-end contemporary design reflecting Vancouver's growing international status.

Exterior reinvention maintained Craftsman row house architectural characteristics while post modern colors are introduced in two-floor front windows, beams, and front door embracing colors of neighborhood multi-cultural milieu.

Open plan interior designated areas created by platforms, ceiling drops, customized built-ins, columns, beams.

Visual transparency is confirmed with repeated use of glass doors and walnut flooring, polished stone on counters and steps, stainless steel on stair risers, appliances, lighting and bathroom fixtures, and glass and acrylic furniture and chandeliers.

Furnishing is utilitarian, either Barcelona chair contemporary or Indonesian wood ethnic. Artistic influences are revealed in Shibui color scheme, striped Sol LeWitt and black and white Malevich inspired murals by stairways.
